Liberty K9 sits at Gate Farm near Nantwich in Cheshire — roughly an hour from Liverpool via the M62 and M6, or down through Runcorn on the A533 — and we specialise in exactly the dogs that local classes and well-meaning trainers cannot help: reactive dogs, dogs with bite histories, dogs whose owners have stopped enjoying owning them.

Credentials You Can Check, Not Claims

Before trusting anyone with your dog — especially a difficult dog — check what they have actually done. Paul Flanagan, our training director, has represented Ireland ten times at the WUSV IGP World Championship (3rd in the world, 2013), spent years training police service and explosives detection dogs, and has personally trained more than 10,000 client dogs over a 40-year career. Julie West is an IGP judge, BIPDT accredited trainer, behaviourist and qualified canine hydrotherapist. Every claim is independently verifiable.

Residential Training for Merseyside Dogs

Most Liverpool clients choose residential training: your dog lives at our Cheshire facility for two to six-plus weeks of immersive daily training, then comes home with a structured handover so you can maintain the results. City Dogs and Reactivity

City living is hard on a reactive dog. Tight pavements, unavoidable dog-to-dog encounters, scooters, traffic, noise — a dog that struggles with any of it gets to practise the wrong behaviour daily. One-to-One and Puppy Options

If you would rather learn the skills yourself, one-to-one sessions at our facility are £600 for five hours across four sessions — many Merseyside clients make the trip fortnightly. Starting right matters most of all: our puppy foundation programmes take puppies from eight weeks, residentially or in private lessons.
