One-to-One
Dog Training in Cheshire
Elevate your dog’s training journey with our personalised one-to-one dog training sessions, where our skilled trainers focus exclusively on your pet’s unique needs and behaviours.
What’s Covered?
Our Private Lessons are carried out from Monday – Friday between 9am and 6pm.
During our one to one dog training lessons, we will evaluate and work hands on with your dog, developing a comprehensive training program to help you progress towards your goals regarding obedience and behaviour.
This foundation program of one on one lessons covers any issues during walks (lunging, barking, pulling, etc.) and basic obedience commands on-leash (sit/stay, down/stay, place, recall).
We will also address behaviour problems, such as jumping up, mouthing, nipping, crate training, house training, counter surfing, or any other issues you might be experiencing.
Your First Lesson
In your first 2-hour one to one private lesson we will spend time discussing your goals, assessing and undertaking hands-on training with you and your dog.
You will begin to see dramatic changes in your dog’s behaviour within this first session.

Next Lessons
In the following 1 hour sessions we will continue to work hands-on with you and your dog on all of the above behaviours.
All lessons must be booked within 8 weeks of the first lesson to allow your dog to consolidate their learning.
Be Ready!
Be ready…..there will be homework! It is supremely important that all of you as a family continue to train diligently in between each session.
We will let you know what you need to do after each lesson.

Your Investment
We want you to be as excited about your dog’s transformation as we are, and we need everyone involved to achieve your full potential together!
Price: £600 for five hours (four sessions) over a max of 8 weeks.
Is One-to-One Training Right for You and Your Dog?
Private lessons are the right choice when you want to be the one handling your dog. Unlike our residential programmes, where your dog lives and trains with us, one-to-one sessions teach you the skills — timing, lead handling, reading your dog and responding correctly — with your dog learning alongside you. For many owners this is exactly what is missing: the dog is capable, but the communication between dog and owner has broken down.
What owners typically come to us with
Pulling on the lead, ignoring recall, jumping up, poor manners around visitors, over-excitement around other dogs, and general obedience that falls apart the moment there is a distraction. If your dog’s problems are more serious — established reactivity or any history of aggression — we will usually have an in depth discussion first, as these cases are often better served by our aggression rehabilitation programme.
Why our one-to-one training is different
Your sessions are with trainers whose experience spans pet behaviour, police service dogs and international competition — over 50 years combined. We use the NePoPo® training system, which builds dogs that work with enthusiasm rather than reluctant compliance, and every session is tailored to your dog rather than delivered from a standard syllabus. Sessions take place at our facility at Gate Farm near Nantwich, Cheshire — ten minutes from Crewe with easy access from the M6.
If you cannot attend weekday sessions
Private lessons run Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. If your schedule will not allow that, our day training service — where we collect your dog, train it through the day and return it home — may be the better fit, or ask us about residential options when you book your consultation.
